Shirking

Shirk \Shirk\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Shirked; p. pr. & vb. n. Shirking.] [Probably the same word as shark. See Shark, v. t.]

  1. To procure by petty fraud and trickery; to obtain by mean solicitation.
