Shamirpet is a suburb and mandal in Ranga Reddy District of Telangana, India. It is located in the north outskirts of Hyderabad. It is home to Shamirpet lake, Jawahar Deer Park, Genome Valley, NALSAR University of Law, Institute of Public Enterprise, BITS Pilani-Hyderabad.
Shamirpet is 23 km away from Secunderabad Railway station and 34 km from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Katta maisamma temple is located near the Shamirpet Lake. People go there in huge numbers especially during weekends.
Coming to Realestate, during last Five years the Realestate is in boom in Shamirpet. The Outer Ring Road (ORR) is connected via Shamirpet.
