Sf.citi

The San Francisco Citizens Initiative for Technology and Innovation, or sf.citi, is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization that advocates for the technology community in the San Francisco Bay Area. At least 500 member companies, including many in the technology sector such as Google, Facebook, Zynga, and Salesforce.com, are supporters of sf.citi.

sf.citi created a video advocating for the passing of Proposition E in the 2012 San Francisco General Elections that was featured on the homepage of Youtube.com on October 9, 2012. The video featured Twitter chairman Jack Dorsey, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, and Twitter and Obvious Corp. co-founder Biz Stone.

On March 31, 2014, sf.citi became involved in the public debate around the tech bus pilot program created by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency by releasing a statement supporting the program.

The chairman of the board of directors of sf.citi is Ron Conway, a technology investor in Silicon Valley, California.
