n. (context analysis English) The property of a function $f$ between metric spaces, that given a convergent sequence $x\_n\; rightarrow\; x^*$, then $f(x\_n)\; rightarrow\; f(x^*)$, i.e. the property of a function that it preserves sequential convergence.
