Sceptrin
Sceptrin is a bioactive marine isolate. It has been isolated from the marine sponge Agelas conifera and appears to have affinity for the bacterial actin equivalent MreB. As such, sceptrin may lead to cell wall decomposition and may possess antibiotic potential.
