Sannhet is an experimental metal band from Brooklyn, NY.
Their debut LP was released on 2/19/2013 by Saint Vitus (venue) as the first release on their record label Sacrament.12 O'Clock Track: Sannhet's instrumental metal "Absecon Isle"

They are an instrumental band with a sound that combines black metal, sludge metal, grindcore and shoegaze with the structures and orders of post-rock and post-punk, though unlike other bands with similar influences, they tend to favor shorter song structures "... the three minute pop song of instrumental post black metal"
Sannhet has become known for their elaborate live shows which include lights, projected visualizations and rhythm-synced strobes. They have shared the stage with bands such as Altar of Plagues, Pelican, Deafheaven, Tombs, Torche, the Body, Gorguts, Rosetta, Nachtmystium, Lord Mantis, Primitive Weapons, Pig Destroyer, Vaura, The Skull Defekts, Locrian and many more.
Sannhet is the Norwegian word for "truth".
