Sangliyana
Sangliana is a 1988 Kannada action drama film directed, co-produced and written by P. Nanjundappa in India. It is loosely inspired by the life story of the cop-turned-politician H. T. Sangliana. The film starred Shankar Nag, Bhavya and Tara in lead roles with actor Ambareesh making a special appearance. The film is produced under "Pushpagiri Films" banner and the music is scored and composed by Hamsalekha.
The film was a blockbuster upon release and a sequel to this was made from the same cast and crew and released as S. P. Sangliyana Part 2 in 1990. A third movie titled Sangliyana Part-3 which starred Devaraj in lead role was released in 1997.
