Sanganakallu
Sanganakallu is an ancient village settlement from the Neolithic period (circa 3000 BC). It is a complex of hills (peacock hills) and is approximately 8 km from Bellary in Karnataka]. It is one of the earliest village settlements and the largest village complex in South India, spread over 1,000 acres. Since 1997, archaeologists from the Karnatak University and Cambridge University have been studying this archaeological site.
