What is "sangamam"

Sangamam is a 1999 Tamil musical romance film directed by Suresh Krishna and produced by V. Natarajan of Pyramid Films. The film featured Rahman and a newcomer Vindhya in the lead roles with Manivannan, Vijayakumar and Radharavi playing other important roles. The film's music was composed by A. R. Rahman, while Saravanan handled the cinematography. The film was released in 1999 but despite of the award-winning soundtracks and rave reviews, the film became a financial failure.

Sangamam is a 1977 Indian Malayalam film, directed Hariharan. The film stars Vincent, Sukumari, Jose, Bahadoor and Poojappura Ravi in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.
