Samma (tribe)

Samma are a Rajput clan. Samma rulers of Sindh were of this tribe. All Samma tribes are given a common name Sammat. Jadeja is also a sub-caste of Samma. Samma ruled Sindh, Panjab and Baluchistan. Firishta mentioned two groups of zamindars in Sindh namely Sumra ana Samma or Satna. Chudasama are an offshoot of Samma tribe.
