Salanpur (community development block) is an administrative division in Asansol subdivision of Bardhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Chittaranjan and Salanpur police stations serve this block. Headquarters of this block is at Rupnarayanpur Bazar. Chittaranjan, Rupnarainpur and Jemari are urban areas in this block. It is a suburb of Asansol.
