What is "saegheh"

The Saegheh ("Lightning" in Persian) or "Saeqeh-1" and "Saeqeh-2" is a short-range surface-to-surface missile developed indigenously by Iran. It has a range of between 65 m and 1000 m. It has been described as an "anti-armor missile". Saeghe-1 weights 6.1 kg and can penetrate in armors up to 500 mm. Also the 7.4 kg Saeghe-2 missile can penetrate up to 760 mm in armor with the aid of its tandem warhead. These two missiles look like American Dragon anti armor missile.

The Saegheh 40 mm anti-personnel rocket was developed to extend the utility of the RPG-7 portable rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) in service with the Iranian forces. It replaces the standard 30 mm warhead with a high-explosive 80 mm tandem HEAT warhead.
