Saddam ( Arabic: صدام, Ṣaddām; ) is an Arabic title which means "One who confronts", other meanings include: "One who frequently causes collisions", "Powerful collider", "Powerful confronter". The name has risen in popularity in some Muslim populations after the War in Iraq and the former President's execution.

Saddam Hussein (1937-2006) was the 5th President of Iraq.
