Ryjewo
Ryjewo (German Rehhof) is a village in Kwidzyn County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Ryjewo. It lies approximately north of Kwidzyn and south of the regional capital GdaĆsk.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
