Rupp's
Rupp's Whisk(e)y, Beer & Vegetarian is an Irish-style pub in the Margareten district of Vienna, located at Arbeitergasse 46. The place was opened in 1991 by Rupert Hutter.
It is one of the oldest vegetarian/ vegan taverns in Vienna. It is known for its typically Austrian dishes (e.g. vegan Schnitzel or Goulash). Rupp's is a meeting point for the Austrian animal rights movement. In 2011, during the lawsuit against the "Verein gegen Tierfabriken", court files showed that these meetings were frequently observed by undercover police investigators.
Rupp's also offers a large variety of whiskys (several hundred brands).
