Rock Creek (Monocacy River)

Rock Creek is an tributary of the Monocacy River in south-central Pennsylvania and serves as the border between Cumberland and Mount Joy townships. Rock Creek was used by the Underground Railroad (at McAllister's Mill, "slaves would slosh through the water to throw off the tracking dogs that were pursuing them") and flows near several Gettysburg Battlefield sites, including Culp's Hill, the Benner Hill artillery location, and Barlow Knoll.

Rock Creek is a tributary of the Elkhorn River that flows south of Wisner, Nebraska and to the west of Beemer. The railway water stop and original plats where the village of Beemer is now located were named "Rock Creek" before Beemer was incorporated as a village in 1886.

From its source northeast of Warner Peak, the creek flows generally northeast, with segments that flow generally north and others that flow generally east, across the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge. The creek flows through Hot Springs Campground, where Bond Creek, a named tributary, enters from the right. The creek passes by Antelope Hot Springs downstream of the campground. Further downstream, it flows through the refuge headquarters, where it passes under Frenchglen Road. The creek then runs roughly parallel to Poker Jim Ridge, on the left, before heading east into Rock Creek Reservoir and then into Catlow Valley. Catlow Valley is a closed basin, with no outlet to the sea.

Rock Creek is a freestone stream in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Wyoming. It is a tributary of Clear Creek, within the Powder River watershed. Its source is located in the Rock Creek Roadless Area. Rock Creek is a creek in the Boundary Country region of British Columbia. This creek is the most renowned placer gold creek in the Boundary Country. It was discovered in 1859 by a Canadian named Adam Beam. Rock Creek was originally called York Creek. Beam earned $977 in the first six weeks he worked on the creek. It has been estimated that over $250,000 in placer gold was recovered from this creek. The creek contained two types of gold. One was lemon yellow and the other coppery gold.
