Robohack
A journalist with the technical skills to edit and file their own news stories.
Martin Turner, Head of Operations for BBC Newsgathering, used the term at the inaugural Goldsmith's College Futures of the News Symposium in reference to the increasing demands made on journalists to do their own package editing and filing in the field, in order to cut costs and keep pace with Citizen journalism.
Robohack was also used in the 6 April 2002 edition of New Scientist magazine to refer to an information gathering dog.
