In Hinduism, Rishabha is the eighth Avatar of Vishnu of the twenty-two incarnations listed in the Bhagavata Purana.
Rishabha Rishi is also mentioned in the Markandeya, Brahmanda, Skanda, and Vishnu Puranas.
