Rhythmicru
Rhythmicru was a Canadian hip hop collective from Toronto. They were known for their guerilla marketing, live shows, and passion for supporting the hip hop community. Rhythmicru started Heads Connect, a show-swapping opportunity for independent hip hop acts in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, and Thunder Bay. Heads Connect released a self-titled collaborative album in 2007.
Rhythmicru pushed the limits of hip hop bringing their act to Taiwan’s burgeoning scene as well as jazz festivals. At Jazz By Genre V they performed with The Irie band blending hip hop and reggae.
