Rhopalocera \Rhop`a*loc"e*ra\, n. pl. [NL., from Gr. ??? a club + ??? ahorn.] (Zo["o]l.) A division of Lepidoptera including all the butterflies. They differ from other Lepidoptera in having club-shaped antenn[ae].
