Wikipedia Regnellites Regnellites nagashimae is the oldest known fossil belonging to the fern family Marsileaceae. It comes from rocks of the Upper Jurassic or Lower Cretaceous of Japan. The fossils include leaves with visible veins, as well as sporocarps.
