RealityCapture

RealityCapture (also known as RC) is a photogrammetry software solution which creates accurate lifelike 3D models out of unordered photographs (terrestrial and/or aerial) and/or laser scans without seams. The application of the program are multiple – the most common fields of its current use are cultural heritage (art and architecture), full-body scanning, gaming, surveying, mapping, visual effects (VFX) and virtual reality (VR) in general.

It features image registration (alignment), automatic calibration, calculating a mesh, colouring, texturing, parallel projections, geo-referencing, DSM, coordinate system conversion, simplification, scaling, filtration, smoothing, measurement, inspection, various exports and imports, etc. The program can be run under the command line. There is also a software developer kit available. RealityCapture is able to mix camera images and laser scans. It is low-demanding in hardware requirements. Output models are accurate and complete. It works linearly, which means if you double inputs, the processing time will be doubled as well.

The software is used worldwide and currently available only in English language.
