PSPCasting
PSPCasting is a term coined by the PSP Video 9 developers as a method of broadcasting open-content video content for the PlayStation Portable handheld gaming system on the internet in a similar fashion to podcasting, from which its name is derived. Despite the name, content is not limited to the PSP, and can usually be played on any computer or handheld video player that supports H.264 MPEG-4.
PSPCasting has gained popularity in the blogging community despite the difficulties to distribute pspcasts, and various P2P networks are offering a wide array of pspcasts. Developers are continuing to improve upon the distribution model of pspcasts.
