Psittrichasiidae
The parrot family Psittrichasiidae consists of two subfamilies, the Psittrichasinae and Coracopsinae, which are found on New Guinea and the Indian Ocean Islands, respectively. Most taxonomists place the family with the old world parrots, the Psittaculidae.
