Pseudepidalea

Pseudepidalea is a genus of toads in the family Bufonidae, the true toads. This genus was erected in 2006 and includes several toads previously classified in genus Bufo. It may include the common European green toad (Pseudepidalea viridis), but this is still under debate.

The genus has a wide distribution, with species in Asia, Europe, and North Africa.

There are approximately 16 species.
