What is "proget"

ProGet is a software repository manager, designed by the software company Inedo. It allows users to host and manage personal or enterprise-wide package management feeds. It was originally designed to work with NuGet (the package manager for the Microsoft development platform) and run on Microsoft Windows. However, ProGet currently works with other package managers, including Chocolatey, Bower, npm, Maven, PowerShell and OneGet, and can run on Linux via Docker. ProGet is targeted to fit into a DevOps methodology.

ProGet's user interface is designed to be used by users with varying ranges of technical proficiency. It is possible to monitor feeds from the ProGet interface, or these features are available to be managed from a number of the clients with which it interfaces
