Proceno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about northwest of Rome and about northwest of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 630 and an area of .
The municipality of Proceno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Centeno and Le Piane.
Proceno borders the following municipalities: Acquapendente, Castell'Azzara, Piancastagnaio, San Casciano dei Bagni, Sorano.
