Pratheeksha is a special school located at Mampetta an hamlet in between Mukkam and Kettangal villages of Kozhikode, Kerala. 52 mentally retarded and deaf children are studying in this special school. 1 is the website of the institution.

Pratheeksha is a 1979 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Chandrahasan and produced by Sreekumar and Vijayakumar. The film stars Madhu, Mohan Sharma, Adoor Bhavani and Ambika in lead roles. The film had musical score by Salil Chowdhary.
