The Post-Bulletin is a daily newspaper based in Rochester, Minnesota. Published Monday through Saturday each week, it is the largest afternoon newspaper in the state. The Post-Bulletin also offers an exact replica of the print edition online to subscribers.
Originally there were two separate publications, the Post and the Bulletin. The Post-Bulletin's foundation marked the combination of these two in 1925. The Withers family ran the paper from 1925 until Bill Boyne took over in 1979. As of 2013, the Post-Bulletin employs 150 people.
The Post-Bulletin is owned by the Small Newspaper Group, which also owns three other news providers in the Midwest: The Dispatch, Quad Cities in Illinois, The Daily Journal, Kankakee, Ill. and The Times, in Ottawa, Ill. The Post-Bulletin publishes a monthly magazine, Rochester Magazine, an award-winning monthly magazine, Agri-News, the largest weekly agricultural news source in the Midwest and a wide variety of weekly/monthly special sections, most recently Radish magazine (healthy living from the ground up) and PB507 weekly arts, entertainment ad community happenings.
