Wikipedia Porcellioidea Porcellioidea is an extinct superfamily of small to large sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the clade Vetigastropoda. This superfamily dates back to the Paleozoic. They developed sinistrally (left-handed) or planispirally coiled teleoconchs.
