They have released three full-length albums, and several CD singles and EPs of original music, all recorded at Roy's Trimordial Studio in Las Vegas. Roy is now mastering their latest recordings too. Poppermost's influences include: The Beatles, R.E.M., The Beach Boys, Queen, Wilco, Oasis, classic '60s AM and '70s FM, The Who, Carole King, and Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The Poppermost name originates from the early Beatles' inspirational call and response, John: "Where are we going, lads?" Paul, George, Ringo: "To the toppermost of the poppermost, Johnny!"

Alex and Roy met in 2001 after joining a forming cover band in Las Vegas. They soon left to pursue their own original music creation. The first couple of years were writing music and performing live as a guitar/bass/vocal duo in open mics and small venues, and networking with local musicians. The next five years included many three- and four-piece full band live shows in public and private venues all over the Las Vegas Valley. After getting burnt out playing live (lots of time and energy spent for little return), Alex and Roy are now back to a duo, not playing live, just recording, and promoting their new music over the web."Poppermost favors studio, not stages", Las Vegas Weekly"Authenticity matters in music and other parts of life", Las Vegas Review-Journal Although they are talking about starting up a live music show again sometime in the future.
