Ponnunjal (Tamil: பொன்னூஞ்சல்) is a 1973 Indian Tamil film, directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by K. S. Kutralingam. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Ushanandini, R. Muthuraman and V. Gopalakrishnan in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.

The show stars Shamitha,Vishwa,Manjula,Vanitha,Shyam and Adhavan as the main cast.While Rajkanth,Vanaja,Shymili,Guhan,Sujatha Panju,and Geetha Saraswathi play as additional roles, The series also reunited Rajkanth and Vanaja who previously starred together eight years before on Metti Oli (2002-2005) and five years before on Deepangal (2008-2009).
The show is produced by Vision Time India Pvt Ltd's Vaidehi Ramamurthy.It is directed by R.Ganesh,A.Abdhullah A.Jawahar,A.V.Sadhasivam and M.K Arunthavaraja.It is currently directed by M.K.Arunthavaraja.The title track was composed by V. Harikrishna and is sung by Priya Hemesh with Lyricist by Yugabharathi.
