Polonyna
Polonyna polonina or połonina (Polish spelling) is a landform, an area of subalpine and alpine meadows in the upper zone of the Eastern Beskids ( Ukrainian Carpathians, Bieszczady Mountains, etc.), used as pasture.
A number of toponyms use this word: Połonina Wetlińska, Połonina Caryńska, :uk:Полони́на Кра́сна, etc.
