Politics.ie is an Irish internet discussion forum. It was founded by David Cochrane. The site was owned by Pie Media Ltd. David Cochrane resigned as director in August 2012. Currently the owner of Politics.ie is unknown as Pie Media Limited dissolved with the company closing on Wednesday the 22nd of April 2015.
The site's membership is diverse and includes a number of activists across the political spectrum, students, politicians, journalists and other people involved in the media. Most contributors are anonymous.
