Point Blank (1967 film)

Point Blank is a 1967 American neo-noir crime film directed by John Boorman, starring Lee Marvin and featuring Angie Dickinson, adapted from the 1963 crime noir pulp novel The Hunter by Donald E. Westlake, writing as Richard Stark. Boorman directed the film at Marvin's request and Marvin played a central role in the film's development. The film was not a box office success in 1967, but has since gone on to become a cult classic, eliciting praise from such critics as film historian David Thomson.

Point Blank DS was released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS featuring 40 challenges from the original series - and the original Point Blank was the sixth lightgun game released by Namco, after both Golly! Ghost!s and Steel Gunners (1990–91) and Lucky & Wild (1992), the last one requiring the first player to drive as well as operate the lightgun.

Point Blank is the only studio album by heavy metal band Nailbomb, released on March 8, 1994 by Roadrunner Records. The side project Nailbomb, was started by Max Cavalera and Alex Newport in the mid-1990s. The first track "Wasting Away", appears in the 1995 film To Die For. The album cover is a female Vietcong member with a U.S. soldier's gun to her head.

Point Blank is a Canadian hip-hop group from Toronto, Ontario. Formed in 1992, the group is composed of six emcees—Imperial, Trouble, Stump, Kidd, RPD, and Jackal—and one producer, Pikihed. The group collectively founded and operates their own imprint label, Tilt Rock Records, which currently has a distribution agreement with Koch Entertainment Canada, one of the country's largest independent music distributors. The group has released several singles and videos such as "Thin Line", "Want It Wit Us", and "Born and Raised in the Ghetto" (a 2007 MuchMusic Video Award nominee).

Growing up together in Toronto’s Regent Park, Canada’s oldest and largest housing project, their music reflects the culture and social issues faced by many inner city youth.
