What is "plagiolophus"

Plagiolophus is a genus of Mexican plants in the sunflower tribe within the daisy family.

The only known species is Plagiolophus millspaughii, native to the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico (States of Yucatán and Campeche).

Plagiolophus is an extinct genus of herbivore. The genus Plagiolophus is documented, almost solely in Western Europe, from the middle Eocene up to the mid Oligocene. The genus displays a wide range in size and weight (between 10 and 150 kg).

Plagiolophus is the scientific name of two genera of organisms and may refer to:
