Pithecolobium micradenium
Shagbark \Shag"bark`\, n. (Bot.) A rough-barked species of hickory ( Carya alba), its nut. Called also shellbark. See Hickory. (b) The West Indian Pithecolobium micradenium, a legiminous tree with a red coiled-up pod.
