Pisatin (3-hydroxy-7-methoxy-4',5'-methylenedioxy-chromanocoumarane) is the major phytoalexin made by the pea plant Pisum sativum. It was the first phytoalexin to be purified and chemically identified. The molecular formula is CHO.
