Pinenchyma \Pi*nen"chy*ma\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. pi`nax a tablet + -enchyma, as in parenchyma.] (Bot.) Tabular parenchyma, a form of cellular tissue in which the cells are broad and flat, as in some kinds of epidermis.
