Phocodontia \Pho`co*don"ti*a\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. ? a seal + 'odoy`s, 'odo`ntos, a tooth.] (Zo["o]l.) A group of extinct carnivorous whales. Their teeth had compressed and serrated crowns. It includes Squalodon and allied genera.
