Perrilloux
Perrilloux is a French surname, derived from a French soldier on the rolls of the French Army as Jacques Perioux who remained in Louisiana after his discharge from the army in 1754. The name evolved into Perilloux. Around 1839, Benjamin Perilloux moved from St. John the Baptist Parish to St. Tammany Parish where the spelling of the names of some of his descendants became Perrilloux. After the war between the states, many freed negroes took the names of their former masters, and some negroes took the name Perrilloux. It may refer to
