What is "peravaram"

Peravaram is a village located East Godavari District in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Located 25 km from Rajahmundry City and 90 km distance from Kakinada. As of 2001 India census, Peravaram had a population of 4000. This village has boundaries on the East at Godavari river, on the West by the main canal, on the North by Bobbarlanka village and on the South, by cropland. Peravaram has potable drinking water, irrigation canals, drainage system, panchayat, veterinary hospital, RMP doctors, Indiramma houses, two primary schools and one high school.
