Pecorara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about northwest of Bologna and about southwest of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 884 and an area of .
The municipality of Pecorara contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cicogni, Praticchia, Busseto, Costalta, Sevizzano, Marzonago, Montemartino, Morasco, and Roncaglie.
