Pankhudi
Pankhudi (meaning: Flower petals in Hindi) Foundation is a non-profit, social development organization which provides basic education and health services to the children who live in slums of India.
Pankhudi works to create a volunteering structure, where service-minded volunteers work with underprivileged children to improve the quality of life for the children by mentoring and coaching them. The organization was founded in April 2005 by Shahzad Wakeel, an IIT Bombay alumnus. At present, the foundation runs six chapters in Allahabad, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune and Bangalore along with its headquarters in Mumbai.
