Pachuquilla is a town in Mexico with a population of 29,797. Pachuquilla is located in the State of Hidalgo, at 2,420 meters above sea level. Since 1958, it has been the central city of the municipality of Mineral de la Reforma. The municipality's population nearly doubled between 2005 and 2010, reaching 127,404. The name 'Pachuquilla' has been adopted from the name of the nearby city of Pachuca de Soto. Pachuca is the administrative capital of the State, and when translated means "Little Pachuca". Pachuquilla's literacy rate is 96.84% (illiteracy affects 2.8% of the male and 3.39% of the female population), and school attendance reached 73.11%. As of 2005, Pachuquilla had the 19th highest Human Development Index in Mexico.
