OutTV (Europe)

OutTV (stylized as OUTtv) is a Netherlands-based television channel which can be viewed via cable television/ digital television as premium channel in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden. OutTV was launched on April 2, 2008 by OUTtv Media B.V. and has also been available with other cable companies since April 11, 2008.

OutTV was founded as a collaboration with the Canadian channel of the same name, whereby the brand and many of the programmes were licensed. Nowadays, most of the programs of the Canadian channel are no longer shown on the Dutch channel.

OutTV (stylized OUTtv) is a Canadian English language Category A cable and satellite specialty channel. Launching in September 2001, OutTV broadcasts general entertainment and lifestyle programming aimed at the LGBT community.

Based in Toronto, Ontario with additional offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, the network is owned by the Vancouver-based Shavick Entertainment, with a smaller minority stake owned by Re:Source Media.
