Orotelli is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about north of Cagliari and about west of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,282 and an area of . The town is known for its traditional carnival costumes, including distinctive masks worn by the Thurpos.
