Orhei ( Moldovan Cyrillic: Орхей; ), older Orgeev ( Yiddish Uriv – אוריװ), is a city and the administrative centre of Orhei District in Moldova with a population of 32,000. Orhei is approximately north of the capital, Chişinău.
