Oreosoma \O`re*o*so"ma\, n. pl. [NL., from Gr. 'o`ros, -eos, mountain + sw^ma body.] (Zo["o]l.) A genus of small oceanic fishes, remarkable for the large conical tubercles which cover the under surface.
