What is "ordu"

Ordu is a port city on the Black Sea coast of Turkey, historically also known as Cotyora, and the capital of Ordu Province with a population of 202,310 in the city center . The city is world's largest hazelnut producer. While, hazelnut is the main source of economy, the city has small-sized industries and rapidly growing tourism in the recent years.

Ordu is an electoral district of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It elects six members of parliament (deputies) to represent the province of the same name for a four-year term by the D'Hondt method, a party-list proportional representation system.
